Finished in Sepia Brown with black interior. The original specification is confirmed by a Porsche certificate of authenticity supplied with the car and apart from the desirable period Recaro seats now fitted, it is still the original specification.
The LHD 911 2.4S was originally supplied to Italy 1972 but was later purchased by a Dutch enthusiast and the documented history confirms it resided there until coming to the UK in 2001 where it was the subject of a comprehensive written report by marque specialist Andy Prill who confirmed that the car was largely still in very good original order with some recommendations for further improvement. These were carried out by another marque specialist Autostrasse in Essex and are documented in the history file.
By 2004 the car was offered for sale by another established specialist Gantspeed and there is an email in the history file also confirming they believed this to be an original and accident free example still in excellent condition. They also mentioned that the original speedo was showing 50,976kms when it was replaced by a new speedo that had been fitted when the car entered the UK in 2001 which was now showing 4,800 miles.
It was purchased by a well-known Porsche enthusiast in the UK who covered a further 5,000 miles keeping the car maintained by Autofarm during this time.
The car then changed hands briefly in 2008 and covered another 2,000 miles with further maintenance from Autofarm before being resold to a serial UK Porsche collector in 2010 who instructed Autofarm to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment that amounted to over £20,000.00 which is fully documented in the history file.
A further £6,000 of expenditure was carried out by Peter Chambers Automotive in 2013 before finally being sold to its current owner.
